Punkt Printing, pronounced “Poonkt,” is a post design service that produces Print Collateral, T-Shirts, Banners, Signs, and other print related services for New Varis clients.

With over 27 years experience in the print industry, we take our extensive knowledge in artwork setup, print processes, proofing, and material selection, to provide our clients a hassle free production process.

The Print Process

We believe the print process starts before the design is ever created. Attention to functionality, time restraints, and customer budgets are imperative before the design can even begin.

We don’t just provide our clients with print services, we consult and execute from beginning to end.

The Brand

So what is Punkt? The concept of the name Punkt Printing was inspired by the history of the industry itself. Around 1450 German Inventor, Johannes Gutenberg, invented the modern printing press which combined movable type, oil based inks, and a wooden screw press similar to screw presses used in agriculture at the time.

The printing process has changed considerably since that time. Today, modern printing presses use processes that lay down tens of thousands of tiny Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black (CMYK) dots that make up the image that your eye perceives.

Taking elements from the industry’s past and present, we chose Punkt, the German word—In Honor of Gutenberg—for “dot.” The bright magenta dot from the modern CMYK color pallet was incorporated into the logo next to the words “Punkt Printing.”
